My mission as a school nurse is to promote excellence in nursing practice by identifying, preventing, removing and/or minimizing, and managing barriers to educating the child.  In addition to nursing interventions, my plans of care will include promoting the education, health and well-being of my students.  I will communicate my knowledge and skills with the children, parents, educators, and any others who come within my circle of influence as a school nurse.
