At this time, the Alabama State Assessment Program is being revamped, and tests and testing schedules are changing.  Testing windows are being shortened to free up instructional time.  One test, DIBELS, has been shifted from the Alabama Student Assessment Program to the responsibility of the Alabama Reading Initiative.  Now, teachers will be able to access the student performance information from this test to guide their instruction.
